Over the weekend I read a little book called "The Dip" by Seth Godin. It’s a pretty quick and fun read. It describes how every new project starts out exciting and fun but after a while it gets harder, less fun and you fall into a dip. He goes on further, in Tignum language, to describe a mindset of how a Sustainable High Performer should approach this dip. Successful people don’t just ride out the dip and they don’t just buckle down and survive it. Instead they see it as an opportunity and they lean into the dip. The people who invest the time, energy and effort to power through the dip are the ones who become their best. So next time you struggle with your nutrition, mindset, recovery or your movement- lean into your dip. The dip is where success happens.
