Yesterday I watched the TedTalk presentation by Al Gore where he shares his insights into 2 years of his climate change campaign. At the beginning he talked about human behavior and how we all know from a factual point of view how important this topic is, yet in terms of daily action it moves down in the list of urgent matters. I saw some analogy of this issue with the topic we promote at TIGNUM.
Everybody understands the importance and the impact of our work (remember: your energy, health, capacity, vitality build the foundation of high performance) but some companies (luckily not many) still see it as nice to have. Al Gore gave one answer on how to solve the issue: great leadership is needed- and this is true in producing an environment that is rich in Sustainable High Performers as well.
